Brief about His Excellency the Vice Governor of Regulation and Digital Trust:

Faris bin Mohamed Al Ribdii, Vice Governor of Regulation and Digital Trust in the Digital Government Authority since August 2021. He has more than 18 years of experience in the field of regulation and compliance. Further, he held several positions in the communications and information technology sector in the public and private sectors. Moreover, he is a member of the Supervisory Committee of Ehsan Platform, and a member of Unified National Access Committee, as well as memberships of a number of other boards and committees.

Education:

Holding Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, College of Computer & Information Sciences, Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU), in 2004.

Previous Experience:

• Vice-Chairman for Regulatory Affairs and Compliance, in Zain Saudi Arabia (January 2018 - July 2021).
• Organizational Relations Department Director, in Saudi Telecom Company (STC) (August 2015-December 2017).
• Executive Director of Regulatory Compliance, in Mobily, (December 2012 - August 2015).
• Researcher and Expert of Communications Regulations and Information Technology, in Communications and Information Technology Commission (August 2011 - December 2012) and Regulations Specialist since (November 2006 - August 2011).
