Glossary Definition

An environment which is a mixture of augmented reality and virtual reality. The user can still see the real world around them, with virtual objects integrated into the environment around them. However, the virtual objects are fixed in place and change in size or perspective as the user gets close to them. This differs from traditional augmented reality where virtual objects are the same size no matter where the user is in relation to them. Similar in function.
