The Digital Government Authority announced the results of the Digital Experience Maturity Index for 2023, with the participation of over (134K) beneficiaries. The general index achieved an increase of (80.68%). It focused on measuring the maturity of (24) digital platforms across four main perspectives: Beneficiary Satisfaction, User Experience, Complaint Handling, and Technologies and Tools. These perspectives encompass (19) themes that measure various areas of the digital experience.
H.E. Eng. Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al-Suwaiyan, the Governor of Digital Government Authority, explained that the Digital Experience Maturity Index aims to increase beneficiary satisfaction, enhance their digital experience, and improve interaction with them in accordance with the strategic directions of the Digital Government and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
H.E. Al-Suwaiyan praised the development of digital government platforms in Saudi Arabia and their role in improving the quality of life, facilitating business practices, enhancing competitiveness, and achieving government work efficiency. This progress has contributed to the advancement of Saudi Arabia in international indicators and reflects the unlimited support provided to the Digital Government by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council of Ministers.
It is worth mentioning that the Digital Government Authority announced on March 14, 2023, the start of the second cycle of the index, which included the evaluation of (24) digital platforms compared to (12) platforms in its first cycle. The general Digital Experience Maturity Index achieved a rate of (80.68%), compared to (77.26%) in the previous cycle. Additionally, the number of participants in the platform evaluation for this cycle exceeded (134K) participants, compared to 18,000 participants in the previous cycle.
The results of the top ten digital platforms were as follows: Ehsan Platform achieved a percentage of (89.40%), while Absher Platform achieved (89.28%), and the GOSI Platform achieved (88.10%). Seha Platform scored (86.50%), Zakat, Tax and Customs Platform scored (86.09%), and Tawakkalna Platform scored (85.35%), all of these platforms reached the "Advanced" level of maturity. Additionally, Etimad Platform achieved (83.20%), Najiz Platform achieved (83.04%), Saber Platform achieved (82.44%), and Saudi Business Center Platform achieved (81.59%), all falling under the "Competent" level of maturity.
The Digital Government Authority works on issuing this index on an annual basis, aiming to open channels of communication with beneficiaries of digital government services. This contributes to raising the maturity level of platforms, improving the quality of services provided, and achieving the strategic objectives of digital government.
