Digital Government Authority (DGA) Signs a Memorandum of Cooperation with Masdar to Launch Discounted Packages for a Number of Services.

Digital Government Authority (DGA) signed a memorandum of cooperation (MOC) with Masdar Data Solutions Company (Masdar) owned by the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI); with the purpose launching discounted packages for a number of services like: (Mofeed services for individuals, Mofeed services for establishments, Aked services, and Eltizam services) at (90%) for beneficiaries from financial technology companies and “SMEs”. This happens with the participation of Ahmed Mohammed Alsuwaiyan, Governor of the Authority, Ibrahem AlNasser, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Raed Alfayez, Deputy Governor for IT and Emerging Technologies at Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST), and Nezar Alhaidar, General Manager of Fintech. 


Faris bin Mohamed Al Ribdii, Vice Governor of Regulation and Digital Trust in DGA represented DGA in signing the MOC. Meanwhile, Bader Al-Dakheel, CEO of Masdar Data Solution Company, represented Masdar in signing the same.


According to MOC, Masdar will offer three packages (Golden, Silver, and Bronze) to the financial technology companies and “micro and small enterprises” to provide discounted prices as a service for verification of salary to reach 0.12 riyals after the discount. 


Ahmed Mohammed Al-Omran, Assistant Governor for IT at GOSI expressed his pleasure for constructive cooperation and joint action with government entities and private sector. This led to signing the MOC that contributes to optimizing and developing business environment in Saudi Arabia to be attractive and motivated one for the private sector.
 

He also said that this MOC comes within the framework of employing the latest technologies to provide outstanding and distinct services. For his part, Faris bin Mohamed Al Ribdii, Vice Governor of Regulation and Digital Trust in the Authority said that the launch these discounted packages aims at fostering the use of government digital services, achieving the digital transformation, supporting innovation and diversity in products and services across digital platforms, and increasing government digital services' contributions to the national economy according to Saudi Vision 2030. 


Further, Al Ribdii said that these discounted packages will contribute to supporting entrepreneurs, financial technology companies, and “SMEs” to leverage from these services with lower cost. 
 

In addition, these packages will improve regulatory environment of the digital services, ease of doing business, and improve the beneficiary's experience of digital government transactions.
 

 Notably, this cooperation comes with the partnership with Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, GOSI, and Fintech Saudi and within the framework of the Authority to foster partnerships with government entities and private sector. This helps ease of doing competitive business and improve beneficiary procedures through pioneering digital services.
