DGA issued the second batch of general interim licenses for digital government work for (2) companies: “Technology Control Company Limited (TCC)” and “The National Real Estate Registration Services Company (Real Estate Registry - RER)”, as well as license (11) digital products to develop, operate, and provide services for (8) existing digital government platforms and products.
Licenses Included the following platforms and products: RER of The National Real Estate Registration Services Company, Nafith, Professional Accreditation, and Saudi Dates Mark by Takamol, Biometrics Verification Service “Semati”, Verify beneficiary's mobile number, National Single Sign-On (Nafath) by Elm and TCC, and Verification of landline by TTC.
These products and services follow (5) government entities: Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development “HRSD”, Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA), Real Estate General Authority “REGA”, National Center for Palms & Dates “NCPD”.
Ahmed Mohammed Alsuwaiyan, Governor of the Authority said that these licenses are one of the outputs of the " Regulatory Sandbox for Digital Government Works " initiative launched by DGA in November 2021AD, as the Authority seeks to increase the efficiency and quality of digital platforms, ensure business continuity, regulate the property rights of government digital platforms and products, and governance of the data sharing mechanism, and the prices of services provided through them to improve the investment environment to support entrepreneurs, strengthen partnership between the public and private sectors, and accelerate the growth of the digital economy, in order to achieve the strategic directions of the digital government and the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030. The Authority issued the first batch of interim licenses for the digital government's work for (3) technology companies in mid-June this year, to develop and operate (15) existing digital government platforms and products.
