The Digital Government Authority (DGA) received the Portfolio, Program, and Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3) certificate after completing the fourth out of five levels of project, program, and portfolio management, making it one of the highest government agencies in the GCC.
 

DGA received the certificate from the British organization Axelos, which specializes in project management for agencies that apply global best practices in this industry. The Authority's achievement of this level stems from its efforts in applying local and global governance standards and its endeavors to raise organizational maturity and business empowerment. Level 4 measures the agencies' adoption of specific governance frameworks and sustainable institutional business models that measure performance and monitor progress in implementing projects, programs, and portfolios.
 

The global organization awards this certificate after conducting reviews, assessments, and audits of the procedures, methodologies, documents, and technical tools used to manage projects, programs, and portfolios by measuring their maturity level in several methodological axes to measure maturity, including Resource Management, Financial Management, Stakeholder Management, Risk Management, Benefits Management, Administrative Control, and Organizational Governance.
 

This certification confirms DGA’s application of global best practices. It reflects its organizational commitment to perform work and provide services at a high level of quality to support Saudi Arabia's digital transformation efforts by developing successful digital project management processes and developing capabilities in the field of project, program, and portfolio management, which contributes to achieving the strategic objectives and enhancing the ambitions towards a sustainable digital government.
