The Digital Government Authority (DGA) held a workshop titled “Digital Identity for Legal Entities” on Sunday, 15 February 2026, in the presence of H.E. Eng. Ahmed bin Mohammed Alsuwaiyan, Governor of the Authority, and H.E. Dr. Esam bin Abdullah Alwagait, Director of the National Information Center at the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).
The workshop was attended by 19 representatives from 8 government agencies and took place at the Authority’s Innovation Hub. It aimed to exchange perspectives and explore future aspirations in a manner that contributes to developing the national ecosystem and enhancing the efficiency and quality of government services related to the digital identity of legal entities.
During the workshop, participants reviewed the current status of legal entities in Saudi Arabia and discussed key challenges across the government, private, and non-profit sectors. Proposed solutions and initiatives were also presented to strengthen integration and improve performance.
In addition, the current model of the digital identity for legal entities was addressed, along with a review of its phases and services, including issuing entities, regulatory bodies, and service providers.
This workshop forms part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to develop the national digital identity ecosystem, support informed decision-making, and enable digital transformation by strengthening coordination and integration among relevant government agencies.
