The Digital Government Authority (DGA), in partnership with Oracle, held a workshop titled “The AI-Powered Modern Government Journey” on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. The workshop was attended by 31 representatives from 11 government agencies and took place at the Innovation Hub with the participation of specialized teams in shared services and technology. This initiative comes as part of the Authority’s efforts to enhance government operational efficiency and boost institutional productivity through the adoption of artificial intelligence applications.

The workshop aimed to enable government agencies to explore capabilities that accelerate procedures, optimize resource utilization, and improve operational efficiency. It also highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in supporting decision-making, strengthening governance and transparency, and enhancing the quality of government services provided to beneficiaries.

During the workshop, best practices and practical use cases for leveraging artificial intelligence to improve productivity and streamline government operations were showcased, particularly in the areas of human resources, finance, procurement, supply chains, and beneficiary services.

This workshop forms part of the Authority’s ongoing initiatives to support government agencies in adopting modern, AI-driven operating models, contributing to a more efficient and productive government in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
