The Digital Government Authority, in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), conducted a training course for employees from various government agencies, to activate the Blue Ocean Open Source Software Initiative, as part of the Future Skills Initiative. The course took place at MCIT headquarters.

The course lasted for five days with the aim of introducing free and open source software, and introducing its role in accelerating digital transformation and the optimal support methods for cloud transformation, and developing the digital skills of the network of talents and developers of free and open source software.

Through the Blue Ocean Open Source Software Initiative, the Digital Government Authority seeks to promote the adoption of free and open source software, in cooperation with academic and training institutions to drive the transition towards open-source software.
