The Digital Government Authority launched the latest edition of the GovJam Innovation Challenge, in partnership with the NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM and the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship. The initiative aims to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors, empowering startups and entrepreneurs to develop innovative and sustainable digital services, while building digital capabilities and spreading a culture of innovation across society.
 

The challenge targets talented innovators and creatives, engaging beneficiaries in designing and improving government services, while accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance digital government services. It also seeks to strengthen participants’ digital skills, improve the quality of government services, and increase beneficiary satisfaction.
 

The GovJam Innovation Challenge offers a unique opportunity for learning and development under the guidance of leading experts in innovation, digital government service design, and emerging technologies. It also provides a platform for networking and collaboration with the wider innovation community across sectors. The program features a variety of events and activities, including insightful panel discussions and workshops. In addition, the Authority’s Innovation Center provides participants with support through its business accelerator, technical expertise, and both technological and financial enablers to help develop viable solutions.
 

The previous edition of the challenge witnessed the participation of 14 government entities and more than 100 participants, reflecting its impact in strengthening the digital government innovation ecosystem.
