The Digital Government Authority is organizing the 2nd edition of the “Digital Government Forum” under the theme "Our Future is Now” on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 19th and 20th, 2023. The Forum will include the participation of several government agencies, the presence of ministers, experts, specialists, and decision-makers in the field of digital
government at the local and international levels.

The Forum aims to highlight the achievements of government agencies, showcase their  success stories, enable digital community leaders  to meet and communicate, exchange experiences, build partnerships, discuss the challenges and future directions of digital government, explore the best modern technical practices, and learn about investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia.

On his part, H.E. Eng. Ahmad Alsuwaiyan, the Governor of the Digital Government Authority, stated that the Digital Government Forum, in its 2nd edition, builds upon the great success achieved in the 1st edition in 2022. It aims to continue efforts, celebrate the rapid and advanced achievements of government agencies, highlight their accomplishments, and encourage the adoption of the best international standards for digital government. This includes providing more efficient and effective digital services that achieve beneficiaries’ satisfaction and improve the quality of life.

The Forum will witness the holding of dialogue sessions and workshops in the field of digital transformation. It will include kicking off new digital products and services, announcing the winners of the Digital Government Award in Saudi Arabia in its 2nd edition, and the winners of the Digital Government Award for GCC countries in its 5th session.

The Forum will also feature the announcement of the Digital Transformation Measurement Results (Qiyas 2023) which aims to improve the performance and effectiveness of government agencies to accelerate the pace of digital transformation and Saudi Arabia’s progress in the international indexes in line with the programs and targets of Saudi Vision 2030.

It is worth mentioning that the Digital Saudi Exhibition will accompany the Forum to showcase the most prominent digital services and products provided by the private sector, in line with the strategic directions of the digital government towards a promising digital future.
