The fourth edition of the Digital Government Forum(DGF), organized by the Digital Government Authority under the theme “Our Future is Now,” kicked off today, in the presence of a number of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Ministers.

The event brings together 400 government agencies and more than 2,000 participants, including decision-makers, as well as local and international experts, in addition to more than 100 companies and entrepreneurs in the fields of technology and digital transformation.

In his opening remarks, H.E Eng. Ahmed bin Mohammed Alsuwaiyan, Governor of the Digital Government Authority stated that the fourth edition of the Forum comes as a continuation of Saudi Arabia’s leading journey in government digital transformation.

H.E highlighted Saudi Arabia’s global advancement in digital transformation indicators as a result of the outstanding achievements made by government agencies, stressing that investment in innovation and artificial intelligence is a key pillar in developing future policies and services.

The Forum also featured a keynote speech delivered by His Excellency Dr. Essam bin Abdullah Alwagait, Director of the National Information Center at the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), during which H.E highlighted the success story of the national super application “Tawakkalna” and its role in strengthening Saudi Arabia’s digital leadership.

The Forum additionally witnessed the announcement by Mr. Faisal Al-Khamisi, Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, of the launch of “Beem,” the national integrated platform for instant messaging and collaborative work. The platform has been fully developed locally, with all its data hosted within the Kingdom.

The platform aims to enhance efficiency and productivity in workplaces across government agencies and the public and private sectors, while improving spending efficiency through a unified digital ecosystem that consolidates work tools in a single platform.

The Forum also announced the results of the 2025 Digital Content Efficiency Index, which recorded a score of (76.24%), achieving the “Competent” level.

The assessment covered 250 government websites. In addition, government agencies winning the Digital Government Award 2025, as well as the finalists of the Innovation Challenge Accelerator 2025, were honored in recognition of their achievements and their role in supporting the national digital transformation.

The first day’s activities included a number of interactive workshops and specialized sessions that discussed innovation in the government sector and the utilization of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to enhance services and improve user experience.

The Forum will continue its activities tomorrow with a series of sessions and leadership panel discussions, along with the “Digital Saudi” exhibition, which brings together more than 40 government and private agencies showcasing their initiatives and achievements in digital transformation.
