On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, the Digital Government Authority, represented by the Government Cloud Office in the Investment and Government Excellence Sector, held a workshop for digital transformation leaders in government agencies in the field of "Cloud Computing", with the participation of 110 representatives from success partners in government agencies.

The workshop aims to introduce the best practices and business models for shifting towards cloud computing services and solutions, and to overcome the challenges and obstacles facing government agencies in the journey of adopting cloud services.

During the workshop, the efforts made by the Digital Government Authority with its partners from government agencies were reviewed, to reach the target of a rate of adoption of cloud services in the digital government reaching 50% by 2025, and to continue working with success partners from government agencies in order to achieve successive targets to reach 80 % adoption by 2030.

It is noteworthy that the workshop comes within the framework of a group of workshops that the Authority intends to hold periodically to raise capabilities and develop competencies in the field of cloud computing, and to accelerate the pace of cloud transformation in digital government.
