Digital Government Authority Announces Results of  2025 Government Website and Digital Content Efficiency Index, Covering 250 Government Websites

The Digital Government Authority today announced the results of the 2025 Government Website and Digital Content Efficiency Index, which recorded a score of (76.24%) at the “Competent” level, compared to (71.40%) at the “Developed” level in 2024. The assessment covered (250) government websites, reflecting the growing commitment of government agencies to updating their digital content and strengthening their online presence in a manner that enhances user experience and supports the competitiveness of websites in line with the objectives of Vision 2030. The announcement coincides with the Digital Government Forum 2025 being held in Riyadh.

The detailed results of the Index revealed the excellence of the top ten government websites based on criteria that included clarity, up-to-date information, and ease of access. The Human Resources Development Fund ranked first with a score of 92.43%, followed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in second place with 92.41%. King Khalid University came in third with 92.37%, and Qassim University ranked fourth with 92.31%. The Saudi Water Authority secured fifth place with 92.02%, followed by “Visit Saudi” in sixth place with 90.82%, and the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center in seventh place with 90.71%.  The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources ranked eighth with 90.02%, followed by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation in ninth place with 89.52%, while the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) came in tenth with 89.39%.

It is noteworthy that the Government Website and Digital Content Efficiency Index is considered the “fourth national index” launched by the Digital Government Authority as part of its efforts to support the government digital transformation journey and strengthen the national identity by enhancing the efficiency of government websites to serve as the trusted official source of information and news, in cooperation with government agencies.
