The Digital Government Authority, in partnership with the Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority (EXPRO) and the National Center for Government Resource Systems, held “workshops” to introduce digital framework agreements and the electronic market, attended by more than 80 participants representing more than 45 government agencies, in Riyadh.

During the workshops, an overview of the framework agreements, strategic directions for digital procurement, and a summary of the services included within the scope of work were presented, as well as guiding government agencies on the mechanism of procurement procedures and processes through the framework agreements via Etimad e-market.

The workshops aim to introduce government agencies to the framework agreements, which in turn will contribute to supporting the digital government transformation journey, strengthening the digital economy, and improving the efficiency of digital government expenditure and procurement by accelerating their procedures, unifying specifications and standards, and raising their quality, in addition to increasing the private sector’s contribution to providing government services, supporting small and medium enterprises, and developing local content.
