On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, the Digital Government Authority held a virtual workshop titled "Cloud Operating Model" in collaboration with Nutanix. The workshop aimed to raise awareness among government entities on cloud transformation goals and introduce the services and support provided by the Digital Government Authority for 2025. The workshop was attended by more than 230 representatives from 70 government entities, along with representatives from the Digital Government Authority and Nutanix Global.
 

During the workshop, participants were introduced to global best practices and business models for cloud computing, strategies for overcoming challenges, and effective approaches to achieving cloud transformation objectives. The Authority also showcased its efforts with partners from both the public and private sectors and addressed inquiries from government entities. The workshop highlighted targets, including achieving a minimum of 50% cloud service adoption in digital government by 2025, with a continued drive to reach 80% adoption by 2030.
 

Notably, this workshop is part of a series of regular workshops the Authority plans to hold to enhance capabilities, develop competencies in cloud computing, and accelerate digital government cloud transformation.
