The Digital Government Authority launched the Digital Transformation Measurement “Qiyas” 2024, which aims to raise the levels of government agencies' commitment to the decisions and orders issued on digital transformation, improve the quality of digital government services provided to beneficiaries, and contribute to enhancing Saudi Arabia’s leadership internationally.
His Excellency the Governor of the Digital Government Authority, Eng. Ahmed Alsuwaiyan, stated that the Digital Transformation Measurement “Qiyas” is the digital tool that enables the transformation journey that supports the pillars of the strategic directions of the digital government in Saudi Arabia to become one of the world’s leading countries in the field of digital government, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Alsuwaiyan pointed out that the Digital Transformation Measurement “Qiyas” aims to achieve the requirements of digital transformation, develop digital government, and improve the performance and effectiveness of government agencies, which contributes to accelerating the pace of digital transformation in Saudi Arabia, raising beneficiaries’ satisfaction, and improving the quality of life.
Today, Monday, the Qiyas 2024 session began through an introductory workshop (remotely) attended by more than 2,000 experts representing 233 government agencies. It included an introduction to the measurement methodology, the most prominent updates to the Digital Transformation Standards Document, and a review of the most prominent success stories of Digital Transformation Measurement “Qiyas” 2023 and the time plan for Qiyas session.
“Qiyas 2024” comes as a continuation of the previous "Qiyas" sessions, as the updated version of the Digital Transformation Standards Document includes 96 standards, compared to 125 standards in last year’s version 2023, in which 226 government agencies participated, which achieved progress of 85.53%, and 88 government agencies have reached the innovation and integration stages.
