The Digital Government Authority, in partnership with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Interior, held a workshop entitled: “Journey of Honoring the Dead,” at the Authority’s headquarters in Riyadh, with the aim of building a seamless digital beneficiary experience for the family of the deceased and raising the level of maturity of government services transformation, in addition to raising awareness of the concerned authorities about the digital experience of the journey of honoring the dead.

The Deputy Governor of the Digital Government Authority for the Business Sector and Digital Transformation, Eng. Yasser Al Shammari, stated that the workshop aims to raise awareness of the concerned authorities about the improvements that have been worked on in the journey of honoring the dead, as this journey was developed in integration with several government agencies, with the aim of obtaining an experience that reduces the burden on the family of the deceased in completing the steps related to the journey and reduces the time taken by the beneficiary to complete burial proceedings, in addition to reducing the effort expended in direct dealing with the concerned authorities, and providing proactive services.

It is noteworthy that the “Life Experiences” Program seeks to build a unified experience centered around beneficiaries and accelerate the process of developing services by providing the necessary support to government agencies.
